Toontown What's New Blog
Hacking means using third-party software or altering code to change the way Toontown behaves, and it causes problems for everyone. If you see Toons doing things no Toon should be able to do, go to Report-A-Player (by clicking on the Toon and then clicking ‘Report’) and use the new “Hacking” option to let us know – it helps us make sure all Toons can keep playing Toontown safely and smoothly!
Red Peppers says:

Little Zowie Nicklesnooker says:
This is Great! I would see tons of hackers in ToonValley but there was no hacking/cheating in the report thing. So I just used Mean or Rude something like that, because it was still sort of mean to use hacks. Anyways Thanks Flippy!

Queen Spunky Wonderseed says:
Does doing glitches fall into this category? Cuz as far as I know, glitching is tricking the game or something, and hacking is editing a game, i think... also, every toon probably knows how to do glitches (cuz of internet), so does that count as hacking? Not that I would actually DO a glitch, but I was just wondering. ~Queen Spunky Wonderseed

Good ol' Salty Giggletoon says:
Wow! A new "Hacking" reporting option? That's highly another way of keeping Toontown free from any hackers who try to unoffically alter the game by using unoffical programs made by sneaky hacker creators and their faux companies! Hacking is heavily against the law, you know. Thanks for putting that new option in. Now, the hackers will ultimately pay the price for interfering the game!

The Awesome Rocker says:
OK, but before you go out and report stuff, be sure you know the differance between hacking and a glitch. You can look them up on this web-page or on you tube. You don't won't to report someone who's suffering through a glitch: they already have enough on there hands!
November 10, 2010 1:12 PM PST
ToonCouncil says:
Don't worry, The Awesome Rocker - if a Toon reports someone who wasn't doing anything wrong, nothing bad will happen.
